[MonoDevelop] This bug has been around for years

I know this has been discussed and filed long ago, but many many versions
of MD later it continues to plague me and my colleagues. When debugging,
hovering on an object, and browsing the object, occassionally when
clickingthe triangle to open the object members, the triangle gets a slash
through it and MD crashes.

It must be a familiar bug to anyone using MD on Ubuntu. Does anyone have
any idea how to fix it, diagnose it, or avoid it. It kills MD for me at
least once a day despite a trained aversion to object browsing via hover.

I am attaching a screenshot to show the "slashed" triangle (last row).
Thanks for any help,

Matt

Please file a bug in http://bugzilla.xamarin.com attaching a
reproducible testcase with which you can always trigger the bug.

Thanks
